About Us
Our Story
Our journey began with the opening of Club 2000, a family-driven vision built on a love for food, hospitality, and bringing people together. What started as a single restaurant gradually evolved into a collection of unique venues, each thoughtfully developed to reflect its own identity while staying true to our core values. In 2015, we expanded into the traditional British pub scene, blending classic pub culture with the bold and vibrant flavours of Indian and East African cuisine. Rather than redefining these spaces, our aim has always been to complement them—creating menus that balance beloved British favourites with carefully curated dishes inspired by our heritage, all tailored to suit the character of each community we serve.
Today, our group has grown across London and beyond, with each venue offering its own personality while sharing a common foundation of warm hospitality, great food, and welcoming spaces. Over the years, these venues have become more than just places to eat and drink—they are spaces where life’s moments unfold. From birthdays and anniversaries to community gatherings and celebrations, we are proud to be part of the memories created within our walls. At its heart, Club 2000 remains what it has always been: a family-run story rooted in passion, flavour, and the simple joy of bringing people together.
Our History
Club 2000 first opened its doors in 2000 as a restaurant in Rayners Lane, Harrow, founded by Hemu and his wife Sandy. It was built around their shared love of good food, good company and creating a place where people could come together to eat, drink and socialise. The restaurant was inspired by the flavours and traditions of their upbringing in India and East Africa, bringing with them family style recipes and the kind of cooking they grew up enjoying at home. Around six months after opening, Sandy stepped into the kitchen and introduced dishes of her own, including what would become one of
Club 2000’s most loved favourites, the Bateta Vada. The recipe, passed down to her from her mother, quickly built a loyal following and became a staple that customers still return for today.
